|Photos are not required to contain the angler in order to win weekly prizes. Fish can be on the ground, on the deck of a kayak or boat, etc. We just ask for something else in the photo that we can use to gauge the length of the bass. That can be a measuring tape, rod and reel etc.
Whenever a winner is selected with a photo like this, we either use a pic from another week or we request a photo from the angler strictly for display use on web posts, social media, etc.
That being said, the weekly Costa Photo Contest is a bit different. Winners are selected by committee based on the merits of the photo.
