I sent a picture with a bass much bigger than your winners and you didn’t count my as a winner why!

      William,
Prize winners are picked via a weighted random drawing: more inches of fish = more chances in the drawing. Because of “luck of the draw”, it’s not always the biggest fish that wins.

could be bluefish in the area , just because he’s got a gaff doesn’t mean he’s gaffing stripers. just sayin.

You can have a gaff for other fish. I always have one on board for big blues; I use lite line. Just don’t use it for Striper retrievals.

In reference to that statement from “LOU”. Hey Lou, why don’t you worry about yourself instead of other people. Is it not legal to carry a gaff on a boat? NO!!!!! It’s also illegal to use anything but circle hooks for stripers, so what, I can’t have any other hooks in my tackle box!! PLEASE. little helpful hint for ya. Don’t hate the player, hate the game son!!! Your EXACTLY what the problem is with the world today. You know NOTHING of what you speak. You spoke out of complete ignorance. There’s no hole in that fish. Get a life son!!!

Oh Lou :(. There are more than one species of fish in the Atlantic Ocean, many of which can be landed using a gaff LEGALLY. Sad to see you have to spend your hard earned free time trolling the internet instead of the ocean. Has no one told you what happens when you assume?

LOU – Who’s to say he uses that gaff on stripers???? Maybe you aren’t aware of this, but there are several other species of fish in our waters that you are allowed to use a gaff for. Nice job Paul, congratulations on your winning photo!
