New Moon Brings Big Bass North

Squid continue to fuel good fishing in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, big Stripers are stacked in Long Island Sound, and Jersey’s spring run is winding down.

With resident fish in the Chesapeake and New Jersey moving into their summer haunts, the hotbeds of striper activity are Montauk, Block Island, Long Island Sound, and Boston Harbor North. Other areas are having brief windows of good fishing as schools of bass pass through on their way to find better concentrations of bait.
